1.    General

These terms and conditions form part of the agreement between The Wee Glesga Tour Co. and you. Before booking with me you should read them carefully.

2.    My Tours

   The price quoted to you at the time of booking will be based upon the tour agreed with you.

   The price will include:

1.    Full planning.

2.    A walking-guide or driver-guide and vehicle for the duration of your trip.

3.    Special visits or tours, planned directly by me.

4.    Fuel, tariffs, insurance (public liability and vehicle).

5.    If duration of  guiding day over 8 hours then overtime will be charged at £50 per hour.

6.    A £120 per night guide accommodation allowance will be added to all tours that have overnight stays.

   The price does not include:

1.    Accommodation – recommendations can be given.

2.    Your own food, drink.

3.    Travel to the starting point.

4.    Personal Travel Insurance.

5.    General admission fees to sites of interest- these should be paid on the day.

3.    Booking & Payment

   Once I have agreed your itinerary, a 20% deposit of the total amount is required to confirm your booking.

   The balance of the total price must be paid six weeks before the tour date.

   Bookings made less than six weeks prior to the start of the tour must be paid in full.

   Payment may be made by bank transfer.

4.    Changes or Cancellation by you

   The deposit once paid is not refundable.

   Up to four weeks before the date of the tour you may cancel and receive a full refund less the 20% deposit and an administration fee.

   Cancellation within 4 weeks of the tour is not refundable.

   If you wish to make any changes to your tour itinerary after it has been confirmed this may result in a change to the total price

   If there is an increase in the total price within eight weeks of the start of the tour, payment of the additional amount will be due immediately in order to confirm the changes made.

5.    Changes or Cancellation by The Wee Glesga Tour Co.

   In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, I will give as much notice as possible. The full amount, including your deposit, will be refunded in full if we cannot agree to reschedule the tour.

   It is unlikely I will have to make any changes to your tour but reserve the right to do so to take in to account circumstances out with my control.

   If a major change becomes necessary, I will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your tour begins. You will have the choice of either accepting the change, purchasing another tour or cancelling your tour. I will refund all payments made directly to me for the tour. I will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flights, travel insurance, etc.

6.    Liability and Insurance

   All Blue and green badge guides are all covered by STGA Public liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Please see the STGA website for more details- www.stga.co.uk

   I strongly recommend that you take out a travel insurance policy as soon as you have booked your tour.
